A Russian attack on railroad infrastructure in Dnipropetrovs'k region killed one Ukrzaliznytsia employee and injured seven others.

In Dnipropetrovs'k region, a strike on civilian infrastructure facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia killed a locomotive crew on duty and injured seven other railroad workers. This was reported on Friday by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia, UNN reports

It's a tough morning for Ukrzaliznytsia: Russia has targeted rail infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovs'k region. As a result, 7 railroad workers were wounded in the line of duty. We are saddened to report that Oksana Storozhenko, a locomotive crew duty officer, was killed

- the statement said.

Ukrzaliznytsia said that the deceased was survived by two sons aged 17 and 15. 

They also reported that the wounded railroad workers are currently in stable condition and are receiving the necessary medical and psychological assistance.

On the night of April 19, Russian troops massively attacked civilian infrastructure facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia in Dnipro and the region. There were injuries among the railroad workers, information about the dead is being clarified. The work of the Dnipro station was suspended. 

Subsequently, the station Dnipro resumed its work.
