Another dam burst in Russia: one dead and one injured

A dam burst on the White Sea Canal in Karelia, killing one person. Three people were injured, seven were rescued, and two are missing.
In the Republic of Karelia, Russia, one person died as a result of the erosion of a temporary bridge between the locks on the White Sea Canal. This was reported by the Russian media with reference to the authorities of the republic, UNN writes.

Reportedly, the incident occurred in the Segezia district.
Three people were injured as a result of the dam breach. Seven people were rescued. Two more - are considered missing.

In the Chelyabinsk region of the Russian Federation, on Friday, July 26, a dam at the Kialym reservoir burst due to a sharp rise in water levels caused by prolonged heavy rains . The dam was washed away on a section of 100 meters, the total length of the structure is 500 meters.
