An indicator of responsibility and willingness to invest - MP on the participation of Ukrainians in programs of partial compensation for the purchase of electric generators
Kyiv • UNN
Oleksiy Kucherenko believes that participation in generator compensation programs is an indicator of citizens' responsibility. He calls for giving preference to electric generators, especially for high-rise buildings.
The participation of residents of apartment buildings in partial compensation programs for the purchase of alternative energy sources, which operate in many cities of Ukraine, is an indicator of their responsibility, willingness to invest in the purchase of such devices and their maintenance. This opinion was expressed by MP, member of the Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services Oleksiy Kucherenko in a commentary to UNN.
Regarding the choice of independent energy sources, the MP calls for giving preference to electric generators.
If we're talking about solar panels, you understand that they are interesting for six months of the year. As for generators, they are much more important than solar panels, especially for apartment buildings with a large number of floors. In buildings with elevators, where water and heat are supplied by pumps, it is definitely desirable to have such a backup system
At the same time, according to a member of the committee, the purchase and maintenance of such devices requires the efforts and investment of people themselves.
"The generator needs to be installed, connected, and fueled. And our people don't really like to do this.
Such programs are definitely good. It will be interesting to see how many percent of Ukrainians will join them. This can be called a kind of experiment that will show a lot in terms of the mentality of Ukrainians and their solvency," the MP concluded.
