Details
The agency explains that this is an important stage of a large-scale digital customs reform aimed at optimizing processes, simplifying procedures, saving time and reducing costs for businesses.
In addition, the new system provides faster border crossing for citizens.
The transition to the new system was smooth and gradual, without interrupting the customs clearance process. Thanks to the coordinated work of the State Customs Service and customs teams across the country, all checkpoints continued to operate as normal.
One of the key components of the new system was its integration with the new automated risk management system. This system, which has already demonstrated its reliability and efficiency in previously implemented modules, allows for more efficient identification and minimization of risks associated with the movement of goods across the border. In addition, it helps to work out the identified risks in a high-quality manner, ensuring a high level of control and security at checkpoints
It is noted that the next stage of the reform will be the introduction of additional components designed to meet the need for further European integration.
These innovations are based on the approaches and processes used in EU countries and will further improve interaction with European customs systems.
