In the Pechersk district of Kyiv, an explosion of a transformer is reported, due to which part of the district was left without electricity. There was no further fire, so rescuers were not involved, writes UNN.

According to local Telegram channels, a transformer exploded in Pechersk, which partially left the district without electricity. It is reported that the estimated time for restoring power supply is 23:00.

The spokesman of the State Emergency Service in Kyiv, Pavlo Petrov, told UNN in a comment that there was a short circuit without a subsequent fire, rescuers were not involved.

According to DTEK, 73 houses were left without electricity due to an accident on cable lines in the Pechersk district.

Energy workers are already working on the site - part of the houses were reconnected to backup lines. We are doing everything possible to restore light to everyone by 23:00
