A 38-year-old resident of Odesa threatened the TCC representatives with a gun during the document check and then fled. The police identified the offender and seized the air pistol from him.

In Odesa, during a military check of military records by the TCC and JV, a passerby threatened them with a gun, put it to the chest of one of the soldiers, and then fled. Law enforcement officers identified the man and initiated criminal proceedings over the death threat. UNN reports this with reference to the National Police of Odesa region.

The incident occurred on August 20 in the afternoon on Akordna Street in Khadzhybeyskyi district of Odesa.

According to law enforcement officers, when the TCC and JFO checked the passerby's military credentials, the latter refused to provide documents. “The man provoked a conflict with the military, threatened them with physical violence and the use of a gun, which he pointed at them, put one of the soldiers to his chest, and then fled,” the police said.

On August 21, the police identified the offender. The 38-year-old man refused to provide explanations for his actions. A pistol, previously pneumatic, for a Flaubert cartridge, was seized from him. It will be sent for examination, law enforcement officers said

Investigators initiated proceedings over the death threats under Article 129 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Under the procedural supervision of the Malynovskyi District Prosecutor's Office of Odesa city, the issue of serving a notice of suspicion to the offender is being settled.
