A fire broke out at a warehouse near Shebekino in the Belgorod region following reports of a drone flyover

In the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, near Shebekino, a large-scale fire broke out on the territory of an industrial zone. According to an OSINT analyst from ASTRA, a warehouse with flammable or combustible materials likely caught fire, UNN reports.

As noted, on the evening of June 17, the local monitoring channel "Shepot Shebekino" published photos and videos from eyewitnesses at the scene of the fire. Prior to this, residents reported a Ukrainian drone flying in the area of the fire.

Based on an analysis of the published materials, ASTRA established that the fire occurred in a section of the industrial zone between the villages of Rzhevka and Voznesenovka, approximately 7.5 kilometers from Shebekino.

According to the analyst's assessment, the nature of the fire indicates that a warehouse containing flammable materials was burning. It is also not ruled out that the facility could have been used for storing military goods, which is a common practice in frontline areas. There is currently no official confirmation of this information.
