A 10-storey building damaged during fierce fighting is restored in Irpin

Irpin has completed major repairs to an apartment building at 52a Kotlyarevskogo Street that was damaged during the hostilities. All systems of the building, which is home to 380 residents, have been restored.
The city of Irpin, Kyiv region, has completed major repairs to an apartment building on Kotliarevskoho Street, which was damaged in the spring of 2022 as a result of hostilities. The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko said this on his Facebook page , UNN reports.

According to Kravchenko, the damage was severe - from the facade to the utility networks. The house was restored thanks to the funds allocated from the Fund for Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.
"380 residents of the high-rise building can finally return to their apartments. Independent technical supervision of the reconstruction was carried out by UNDP experts in Ukraine," added Ruslan Kravchenko.
They were restored as part of the overhaul:
- Windows, doors and balconies
- Walls, floors and facade of the building
- Roof with insulation, parapets and fencing
- Drainage, heating and lightning protection systems
-Common areas, stairwells and landscaping
-Ramps and tactile navigation system for barrier-free access
According to Kravchenko, CRSA is implementing 48 projects under the program, including residential buildings, educational institutions, and the construction of shelters.
"People who lost their homes due to the war should return to warmth and comfort as soon as possible. That is why we are actively working on the restoration of residential buildings, ensuring high-quality and prompt implementation of projects," said the head of the Kyiv RMA.
