250,000 subscribers are left without electricity in Odesa region due to extensive damage to energy facilities caused by a nighttime Russian attack.
As a result of the night attack by Russia, power facilities in Odesa region suffered significant damage: 250 thousand subscribers are currently without electricity. The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Oleh Kiper announced this during a telethon, UNN reports.
There is significant damage to power facilities in Odesa region. At present, stabilization blackouts are partially underway in Odesa by Ukrenergo's order. As of today, 250 thousand subscribers are without electricity
As for the hospitals, they are operating normally because they are equipped with generators, Kiper continued.
The head of the regional state administration also called on the residents of the region to use electricity sparingly.
"This is very important for us, we will save money and there will be fewer outages. The grid lacks sufficient capacity.
I will issue a separate order to ensure that all state and commercial bodies save electricity," he added.
