151 combat engagement in 24 hours, occupiers intensified artillery shelling - General Staff

Over the past day, the occupiers carried out more than 3,400 shellings and used 9,300 drones. The hottest spot remains the Pokrovsk direction with 33 enemy assaults.

Over the past day, 151 combat engagements were recorded at the front, with Russian troops actively using aviation, drones, and artillery. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of the morning of April 18, writes UNN.
Details
Over the day, the enemy launched one missile and 63 air strikes, dropping 217 guided aerial bombs. They also used over 9,300 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,447 shellings, including 106 from MLRS.
In response, the Defense Forces hit a UAV control point, two cannons, and seven areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment.
Hottest directions
The greatest enemy activity was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction – 33 assaults, and in the Kostiantynivka direction – 22 attacks.
Intense battles also continued in the Huliaipole direction (12 attacks) and the Oleksandrivka direction (10 attacks).
Other front sections
In the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out three assaults and 82 shellings. In the South-Slobozhansky direction – three attempts to break through.
In the Kupyansk, Lyman, and Sloviansk directions, several attacks were recorded, which the Ukrainian military repelled.
There were no enemy offensive actions in the Kramatorsk direction.
South
In the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers attacked twice, and in the Prydniprovsky direction, they carried out four unsuccessful assaults towards the Antonivsky bridge.
The Defense Forces continue to restrain the enemy's offensive and inflict losses on them.
