11 Russian propagandists added to the list of "Kremlin mouthpieces" - GUR

New data on 11 Russian propagandists, including journalists, military correspondents, bloggers and representatives of Russian propaganda media, has been added to the War&Sanctions portal. This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine in Telegram, UNN writes.

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defence Council have published data on 11 Russian propagandists who spread Kremlin narratives and justify the war against Ukraine.

In particular, the list includes:

• Vitaliy Averyanov - Russian philosopher, publicist, writer, blogger, director of the Institute of Dynamic Conservatism, co-founder, deputy chairman of the Izborsk Club;

• Vladislav Shurygin - Russian journalist, military expert, analyst, blogger, publicist and columnist, deputy editor-in-chief of Zavtra newspaper, permanent member of the Izborsk Club, member of the Russian Writers' Union, author of books and literary collections;

• Vladimir Bortko - Russian film actor, film director, screenwriter, film producer, TV presenter, politician, State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (2011-2021), member of the Izborsk Club;

• Yuri Kotenok - Russian military correspondent, blogger, analyst, editor-in-chief of the information and analytical publication Segodnya.ru, columnist and editor of the information and analytical service of Donbas;

• Denis Kulaga - special correspondent of the Russian federal TV channel REN TV, military correspondent of Izvestia (Multimedia Information Center Izvestia LLC), blogger;

• Katerina Andreeva - journalist, announcer, editor, Russian TV presenter of the Vremya news program on the all-Russian federal TV channel Channel One;

• Boris Korchevnikov - Russian TV presenter, media manager, journalist, public figure, actor, member of the Russian Television Academy, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, general director and general producer of the Russian TV channel Spas, host of the Life and Destiny project on the Russia-1 TV channel;

• Boris Yanovsky - Russian screenwriter, director, TV producer, actor, author of books, general producer of Zvezda TV channel since 2015;

• Serhiy Karnaukhov - Russian political scientist, writer, blogger, TV presenter, associate professor of the Department of Legal Support of Market Economy of the Institute of Public Service and Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, author of the Telegram channel KARNAUKHOV, host of the Karnaukhov Labyrinth program on the Solovyov LIVE channel;

• Alexander Prokhanov - editor-in-chief of the Russian publication Zavtra, Russian writer, journalist, prose writer, screenwriter, public and political figure of the Russian Federation, member of the secretariat of the Russian Writers' Union, chairman and co-founder of the Izborsk Club, ideologist of the all-Russian public movement Russian Dream, deputy chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation

• Andriy Medvedev - Russian journalist and politician, Deputy General Director for Radio Broadcasting of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, Deputy Director of the Directorate of Information Programs Vesti, Editor-in-Chief of the United Editorial Office of EZMI, Director of the Production Directorate of the State Radio Broadcasting Company Radio of Russia, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow City Duma, Member of the Parliamentary Coordination Group on the so-called "SVO".

These individuals play a key role in Russia's information war, spreading disinformation among the international audience and justifying the Kremlin's aggressive actions against Ukraine.

In total, the "Kremlin Mouthpieces" section of the War&Sanctions portal contains information on 94 Russian propagandists.
