On his way to Argentina to attend the inauguration of of the newly elected President Javier Milei, Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Cape Verde José Ulises Correia y Silva, which became the first in the history of bilateral relations with this country, the head of state said in a statement.
According to the president, the voice of Cape Verde is the voice of democracy, which helps Ukraine democracy, which helps Ukraine at the UN, supports resolutions that are very important for Ukraine.

In addition, Zelenskyy informed Correia y Silva about Russia's unsuccessful attempts to obstruct civilian shipping in the Black Sea, noting that after the restart of the alternative "grain corridor" it has already transported more than 7 million tons of grain.
