Zelenskyy and Pistorius discussed increasing military aid funding for 2025 at the Ramstein base. Germany will soon transfer additional missiles for air defense systems.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius discussed the possibility of increasing military aid funding for Ukraine in 2025 during a meeting at the Ramstein base. Pistorius announced that Germany will soon provide additional missiles for the previously delivered air defense systems. As Zelenskyy stated, increasing the funding for military aid to Ukraine is critical for our country to strengthen the Ukrainian positions on the battlefield. After all, only in this way can we put pressure on Russia and force it to a fair and lasting peace.
Separately, the President emphasized the importance of further strengthening the Ukrainian air defense and providing Ukraine with additional air defense assets. Pistorius announced that Germany will soon transfer additional missiles for the previously delivered systems.
Also during the meeting, the leaders discussed the future work of the Ramstein format and the possibility of financing Ukrainian production of weapons and equipment based on the Danish model.
