The President of Ukraine called on the EU to put pressure on Russia to start adequate negotiations. Zelenskyy emphasized that Russia could be forced to peace by limiting its money and power.

Now is the time to put pressure on Russia and force it to negotiate adequately. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a speech in the European Parliament, an UNN correspondent reports .

The more time passes, the more conditions deteriorate. Now is the moment to put pressure on Russia and force it to negotiate adequately...Putin does not value people or rules at all. He only values money and power, and these are the things we have to take away from him in order to restore peace

- Zelensky said.

The President emphasized that everything must be done to end the war fairly,

"If someone in Europe thinks that we can sell Ukraine to Moscow, like the Baltic States or the Balkan States, Georgia or Moldova, and get something in return, benefit from it, I want to remind you of a simple truth - no one can be calm in a storm. We must do everything to end this war fairly, as you said Roberto (President of the European Parliament Roberta Mecola - ed.) and of course together," Zelensky said.
