American Admiral Aquilino is "very concerned" about the growing military ties between China and Russia, as he said during meetings with representatives of the Japanese defense industry.

The head of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command , Admiral John C. Aquilino , on Monday expressed great concern over  the escalation of military actions by China and Russia in the region. He said this during a meeting with representatives of the Japanese defense industry, the Associated Pressreports , UNN informs.

Aquilino met with representatives of the Japanese defense industry ahead of the Keen Edge 24 joint exercise to be held early next year.

According to the publication, the head of the US Indo-Pacific Command said that he was "very concerned" about the intensification of joint military actions by China and Russia in the region.

Aquilino called on China to stop escalating maritime confrontation with its neighbors and said that China's growing military activity with Russia is a serious concern during Russia's war in Ukraine.
