Umerov met with the British Ambassador: what is known

Ukrainian Defense Minister Umerov met with British Ambassador Harris to thank him for the UK's support and discuss military cooperation and procurement transparency. Umerov introduced two of his deputies who will be in charge of arms and equipment management.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov met with British Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Harris and congratulated him on his appointment, UNN reports citing the Defense Ministry.

The defense minister also introduced the British ambassador to one of his deputies, Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk, whose area of responsibility is the development of new weapons and military standards. In addition, Rustem Umerov informed the ambassador that a new deputy, Vitaliy Polovenko, was appointed on Friday to be responsible for receiving and maintaining equipment in the rear.
The minister emphasized that all procurement should be transparent, all supplies should be continuous, but if "any company or official is compromised in this process, they should be eliminated."
