Ukrainian children received gifts from the Vadym Stolar Foundation as part of the Light of Childhood project.
Children from five Ukrainian cities received 5,000 gifts from the Vadym Stolar Foundation as part of the Light of Childhood project. Volunteers also organized a real holiday for the kids.
The Light of Childhood is a holiday project of the Foundation launched in December 2022. Its goal is to support children and create a New Year's mood for them, even despite the constant shelling and prolonged blackouts. This time, the Foundation's team visited Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and Odesa. For safety reasons, the locations for the event were chosen near equipped shelters.
"Our holiday project 'Light of Childhood' is not only about sweet gifts that we buy, pack and deliver to different cities of Ukraine. During meetings with children, we also organize a small holiday with the participation of animators, outdoor games, and warm communication with the kids, which creates a real atmosphere of Christmas and New Year for them," said Natalia Prykhodko, a volunteer of the Foundation.
Children from families supported by the Vadym Stolar Foundation received gifts for the holidays: children of fallen defenders, captured and missing soldiers, as well as children from large and low-income families.
"Ukrainian children, like all children in the world, should grow up and enjoy living in a peaceful and safe country. And while our defenders are doing everything possible for this at the front, we, together with the Foundation's team, are trying to add positive to the lives of little Ukrainians. Seeing happy kids is priceless," said Vadym Stolar, founder of the Foundation.
