Ukraine starts at the 2024 Olympics in archery

Veronika Marchenko finished the archery qualifying round at the Paris Olympics in 25th place with 657 points. Her opponent in the 1/32 finals will be 19-year-old Li Chai Qi from Chinese Taipei.

Today, on July 25, the day before the official opening of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris, the national archery team began its journey.
The Archery Federation of Ukraine reported that Ukraine is represented by two of our athletes: Mykhailo Usach (Rivne region) and Veronika Marchenko (Lviv region).
They will compete for awards in the individual and mixed team competitions.
This will be Veronika's third Olympics, while Mykhailo will be participating for the first time.
The qualifying round was planned as follows:
10:30 - women's ranking round: Veronika Marchenko
15:15 - Men's ranking round: Mikhail Usach
Archery qualifications are not broadcast.
At the same time, Suspilne Sport reported that as a result of today's performance, Veronika Marchenko took 25th place - she finished the qualifying round with 657 points. This means that her rival in the 1/32 finals will be a 19-year-old representative of Chinese Taipei, Li Chai Qi, who made her debut at the World Cup level in 2024.
