Ukraine issues "yellow" warning due to worsening weather

On June 30, thunderstorms, squalls and hail are expected in Transcarpathia. On July 1, bad weather will cover Volyn, Lviv and Transcarpathian regions.

A "yellow" level warning about worsening weather conditions has been issued in a number of regions of Ukraine, UNN reports, citing data from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

On June 30, thunderstorms are expected in Zakarpattia, with gusts of 15–20 m/s and hail in some places. In areas of heavy rainfall, the following is possible:
- a rapid rise in water levels on small rivers by 0.5-1 m;
- partial flooding of low-lying areas, especially in populated areas;
- formation of significant local and slope runoff;
- In mountainous areas - the descent of small mudflows.
"I danger level (yellow)", - noted in the State Emergency Service.
"On July 1, in the Volyn, Lviv and Zakarpattia regions, thunderstorms are expected, with hail and gusts of 15–20 m/s in places (I danger level - yellow)", - indicated in the State Emergency Service.
On July 1-2, in most regions of Ukraine, as reported, an extreme level of fire danger will persist.
