Ukraine has reached new defense solutions and identified additional systems and interceptors. Negotiations are also underway to obtain interceptor missiles whose shelf life is soon to expire. This was reported by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Heorhii Tykhyi, during a briefing, according to UNN.

"I can also pull back the curtain a little for you... a number of new defense decisions have been reached," the spokesperson stated.

According to the official, Ukraine has managed to find additional means to strengthen its defense capabilities.

"Ukraine has managed to find a number of additional assets, both systems and interceptors," emphasized Heorhii Tykhyi.

However, funding is required for the identified defense assets.

"Certain additional assets have been found for which financial resources are needed, and Ukraine is actively working to find these resources; a number of resources have already been found," the MFA spokesperson emphasized.

In addition, Ukraine may receive interceptor missiles whose shelf life expires after a certain period.

"The Ukrainian side also managed to find a number of interceptor missiles whose shelf life expires after a certain time, which can also be obtained for Ukraine. We are currently conducting active negotiations to receive them. Because what is the point of a missile after its shelf life expires? They must either be returned to the manufacturer or disposed of; we propose transferring them to Ukraine," Tykhyi stated.
