The Government has approved the Plan for the Ukraine Facility, a 4-year, €50 billion EU assistance program aimed at implementing structural reforms based on European approaches and bringing Ukraine closer to EU membership, with the potential to receive about €16 billion this year.
Ukraine's government has approved a reform plan to receive aid under a four-year, €50 billion EU program and will soon submit it to the European Commission, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Monday, UNN reports.

"The government has approved the Plan for the Ukraine Facility. It is the basis for providing financial support under the program, which is designed for 4 years and has a total amount of 50 billion euros," Shmyhal wrote on Telegram.
According to him, the plan contains structural reforms, which correspond to more than 100 quarterly indicators. These include European approaches to public administration reform, anti-corruption, economic and sectoral reforms in various areas, from energy to agriculture. In addition, the document outlines cross-cutting areas such as the "green" transition, digitalization, and European integration.
"The plan was developed jointly with European partners to strengthen our country and bring EU membership closer. We will soon submit it to the European Commission for consideration. Thanks to the implementation of the reforms of the Ukraine Facility Plan, Ukraine will be able to receive about EUR 16 billion this year," the Prime Minister said.
He thanked the EU for its assistance and solidarity.
