
Tyshchenko's case transferred to court

The SBI has completed an investigation into the case of illegal imprisonment of a combat veteran in Dnipro. MP Tyshchenko is charged with organizing the beating and detention of the veteran by a group of people.
The case against the MP on beating a combatant in Dnipro has been sent to court, the State Bureau of Investigation reported, UNN reports.

"SBI employees have completed the investigation of criminal proceedings against the current MP of Ukraine on the fact of illegal imprisonment of a combatant in Dnipro. The indictment has been sent to court," the SBI reported on social media.
According to the Bureau, on June 20, 2024, in Dnipro, a group of people, on the instructions of a people's deputy of Ukraine, illegally deprived the victim, a combatant, of his liberty. He was held for some time and inflicted bodily harm. The investigation, as noted, "established that this was done by prior conspiracy by a group of people and with the use of physical force and special means.
The SBI does not name the MP, but the circumstances indicate that it is a case in which on June 25 "the Prosecutor General served a notice of suspicion to the current MP Mykola Tyshchenko on the fact of illegal imprisonment of a former serviceman in Dnipro.
According to the SBI, the deputy is suspected of unlawful deprivation of liberty committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, accompanied by causing physical suffering to the victim (Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code).
