Miller, who was a senior adviser to Trump during his first administration and was a leading proponent of more restrictive immigration policies, is expected to take on an expanded role in the president-elect's second term.
Miller is also a leading architect of Trump's plans for mass deportations of illegal immigrants. He said a second Trump administration would seek a tenfold increase in deportations to more than one million a year.
“President-elect Trump will soon begin making decisions about who will serve in his second administration. Those decisions will be announced when they are made,” Trump spokeswoman Carolyn Leavitt told CNN.
