Train hits 40-year-old man near Kyiv

In the town of Bucha, near Kyiv, a train fatally injured a local resident. Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances and causes of the tragedy, UNN reports with reference to the police of the Kyiv region.

On October 30, at 18:03, the Bucha Police Department of the Kyiv region received a report from doctors that a man had died under the wheels of a train.
Law enforcement officers have preliminarily established that the Sviatoshyno-Nemishayevo electric train hit a 40-year-old man who was on the railroad tracks.
The driver of the electric train used signals and emergency braking, but the collision was unfortunately not avoided. The local resident died on the spot from his injuries.
The police launched a pre-trial investigation into the matter (Part 3 of Article 276 of the Criminal Code).
