On July 12, Ukraine is expected to experience a heat wave with a maximum air temperature of +42 degrees in the southern regions. A gradual easing of the heat is likely from July 20, said weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, reports UNN.
Attention: +37+42 degrees are expected tomorrow in the southern part of Ukraine! In most regions, we will also not freeze, during the day +35+40 degrees. In the western regions and in the border areas of Sumy and Kharkiv regions, it will be +31+34 degrees during the day
According to her, on July 12, Kyiv is expected to be very hot with a maximum temperature of +34+36 degrees.
Light to moderate winds will be from the east tomorrow, with strong gusts of up to 15-20 meters per second expected in Crimea and Azov.
A weather forecaster believes that it is unlikely that there will be any significant rain in Ukraine on July 12, except in Volyn.
The peak heat days are from July 13 to 16.
"I am cautiously predicting that the heat will gradually ease on July 20," said Didenko.
She also gave advice on how to escape the heat. "Water supply, moistened handkerchiefs on the back of the head, fans, stay out of the sun, cover your head, keep your family doctor's phone nearby, no synthetics on the body, cats, dogs, flowers cannot protect themselves very well - we help," she wrote.
