"Thousand Springs" moves to the second stage - how many projects were admitted and what's next

The first stage of the "Thousand Springs" initiative has been completed with technical selection. In particular, 404 projects of feature films and series have been admitted to expert evaluation.

The national initiative to support Ukrainian culture "Tysiacha Vesna" moves to the next stage. On June 4, the application submission ended. In total, 2,634 projects from all over Ukraine were submitted for the competition.
Until June 12, the State Film Agency and the State Arts Agency conducted technical selection. At this stage, the documents submitted by participants and their compliance with the competition requirements were checked.
The second stage of the competition in the areas of the State Film Agency and the State Arts Agency - expert evaluation - will last until July 28. For the area of the Ministry of Culture (audiovisual shows and videos for social networks) - approximately until August 3.
At this stage, projects will be evaluated by independent experts according to defined criteria. Based on the evaluation results, ranking lists of projects for each area of the competition will be formed.
The State Film Agency also reported that for the second stage of the artistic competition (documentary) films and series, 354 projects have been admitted, in the area of films for children's audience and animation - 170 projects, as well as 404 projects of feature films and series.
As reported by the State Arts Agency, based on the results of the first stage, the following have been admitted to expert evaluation:
- in the area of "Visual Arts" - 196 projects;
- in the area of "Contemporary Music" - 293 projects;
- in the area of "Performing Arts" - 282 projects.
