The subsistence minimum in Ukraine and related social benefits will increase in 2024.

In 2024, the subsistence minimum and tied social benefits will increase subsistence minimum and social benefits tied to it will increase, UNN reports.

The total indicator of of the subsistence minimum per person per month as of today is UAH 2,920.

Accordingly, for different categories, the subsistence minimum will be:

  • For children under 6 years old - 2 563 UAH.
  • From 6 to 18 years old - UAH 3,196.
  • For able-bodied persons - UAH 3,028 UAH.
  • For persons who have lost their ability to work
  • UAH 2,361 for persons who have lost their ability to work.

The change in the subsistence minimum will affect a number of payments, including including alimony.

In particular, payments for pregnant women who are not working and are not registered with the employment center will increase to UAH 757. Alimony for children under 6 years of age will no longer be less than UAH 1,281, and for children aged 6 to 18 - UAH 1,598.
