The Parliament of Serbia will hold an extraordinary session on July 27 to consider a vote of no confidence in the government, initiated by 62 opposition deputies. Previous attempts to consider it were thwarted due to loss of quorum.
The Parliament of Serbia will hold an extraordinary session on July 27, the sole issue of which will be consideration of a vote of no confidence in the government. The session was called by the Speaker of Parliament, Ana Brnabić, at the request of 109 deputies. This was reported by N1, writes UNN.

The session will begin at 10:00 local time. The only item on the agenda will be a resolution on a vote of no confidence in the government, previously submitted by 62 deputies of the Serbian parliament.
The motion for a vote of no confidence was first submitted on February 13. Among the reasons, the opposition cited the decision to strip the General Staff complex of its monument status, as well as the criminal proceedings against Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković.
The document was signed by 62 deputies from a number of opposition political forces, including the People's Movement of Serbia, the Party of Freedom and Justice, the Green-Left Front, the Serbian Center, "Ecological Uprising", the Movement of Free Citizens, and others.
Previous attempts to consider it were thwarted
As N1 reports, only on April 15 did Speaker Ana Brnabić schedule a session to consider this issue. However, it was interrupted after deputies from the ruling majority left the hall, causing the parliament to lose a quorum.
The session was postponed to April 16, but even then the parliament never proceeded to consider the vote of no confidence in the government.
