The Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications has added the estate of Yevmeniy Zelenskyi of the second half of the 19th century in Kyiv to the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine. This is reported by the press service of the MCSC, writes UNN.

On March 4, the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine added the cultural heritage object to the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine, as a monument of architecture, history, category of local significance, cultural heritage object in the city of Kyiv "House of Yevmeniy Zelenskyi, second half of the 19th century" (dating: second half of the 19th century), located at the address: Kyiv, Konyskyi str., 22. This was done for its protection and preservation.

The MCSC once again emphasized that the destruction of the historical building, known to the public as the "Zelenskyi estate", is a cynical violation of the law on protection of monuments and urban planning legislation and State building codes.

In particular, the MCSC held a meeting with representatives of the public to discuss the problems of preserving the monument, as well as joint steps to resolve issues of its restoration.

At the same time, the Ministry supports the public's desire to protect the cultural heritage of Kyiv.
