The Government has allocated UAH 1.3 billion of the Council of Europe Development Bank loan to the Ministry of Health

The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated UAH 1.3 billion in loans from the Council of Europe Development Bank to the Ministry of Health to rebuild hospitals. The government is also raising $385 million to improve school conditions.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 1.3 billion of the Council of Europe Development Bank's loan to the Ministry of Health. This is a resource for the restoration of medical institutions. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, reports UNN.  

Mr. Shmyhal said that today the government has made decisions that will allow it to raise funds for healthcare and education.

The Ministry of Health received UAH 1.3 billion in loans from the Council of Europe Development Bank. This is a resource for the restoration of medical facilities. During the full-scale war, we have already fully or partially restored 885 hospitals, and this work will continue

- Shmyhal said.

The government also approved a decree that will help attract a $235 million loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and $150 million from the International Development Association.

These funds are invested in improving teaching and learning conditions in accordance with the standards of the New Ukrainian School

- Shmyhal noted.
