The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiha, together with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, inaugurated the new Consulate General of Ukraine in Mumbai, which "will promote the protection of the rights and interests of our citizens, develop partnerships and business contacts".
We held a large business forum in Mumbai with the participation of more than 130 Indian companies. It was a truly high-profile event that was widely covered in the Indian press. Interest in working in Ukraine, developing partnerships and investments is huge. That is why we officially inaugurated the new Consulate General of Ukraine in Mumbai directly at this event, which will promote the protection of the rights and interests of our citizens, develop partnerships and business contacts
During his visit to Mumbai, the head of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission also presented the exequatur to the new honorary consul of Ukraine in Sri Lanka.
"Ukraine continues to expand its diplomatic presence, economic cooperation and business relations with India," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added.
