Russian troops shelled the center of Kherson, killing a 55-year-old woman and injuring one person. Due to the shelling, the city partially lost power and trolleybus traffic was stopped.
Russian troops massively shelled the center of Kherson, killing a 55-year-old woman and injuring one, the city is partially without electricity and trolleybuses have been stopped, the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Oleksandr Prokudin and the head of the Kherson MBA Roman Mrochko reported on Telegram on Thursday, UNN writes.

"The center of Kherson now. The enemy is massively covering the city with fire," Prokudin said.
According to the Kherson Regional State Administration, at 12:30 Russian troops covered the central part of Kherson with artillery fire.
"The enemy massively shelled the central part of Kherson," Mrochko said.
Initially, one victim was reported. A 56-year-old man was taken to the hospital. Preliminary diagnosis is a mine-explosive injury.
"A 55-year-old woman received an explosive injury incompatible with life as a result of a recent enemy shelling of the city center," Mrochko later said.
"As a result of massive shelling by the Russian occupation forces, electricity supply in Kherson has partially disappeared," the head of the MBA said.
As a result, trolleybus traffic in the city has been temporarily suspended. Specialists are currently clarifying the locations and extent of the damage.
According to the Regional State Administration, earlier, at approximately 08:30, the Russians attacked an elderly woman in Kherson with a drone. As a result of dropping explosives, an 82-year-old resident of Kherson received an explosive injury, concussion and head wound.
