A video has been posted online where a soldier claims that the Ukrainian armed forces have captured the village of Oleshnya in the Kursk region of Russia. The information has no official confirmation from either Ukraine or Russia.
A video is circulating online in which one of the military claims that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have taken control of another village in the Russian Kursk region. The video was posted on his Telegram channel by journalist Andriy Tsaplienko, UNN reports .
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces have taken control of Oleshnya in the Kursk region. The breakthrough continues," the video caption reads.

Oleshnya is a village almost on the border with Ukraine, 10 kilometers from the district center of Sudzha.
It should be noted that the information about Oleshnya has not been officially confirmed. Neither Russia nor Ukraine has made any official comments.
