The 12th Special Forces Brigade "Azov" of the National Guard of Ukraine received an honorary award - the ribbon "For Courage and Bravery". This was reported in the telegram channel of Azov, UNN reports.

It is noted that President Zelenskyy presented the award to the brigade commander, Lieutenant Colonel Denys Prokopenko, during an award ceremony on the Day of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Ukraine will always be grateful to the soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine. In particular, to the soldiers of the Azov unit who defended Mariupol and Azovstal. We remember all Ukrainians, all defenders of Mariupol, all Azov people who are now in Russian captivity. The government is doing everything possible to bring them home
