On Monday, 170 explosions were recorded in 10 settlements in the border region of Sumy as Russian troops shelled the region with artillery, mortars, mines, drones and air strikes, wounding 3 people in the city of Sumy.
There were 170 explosions in Sumy region on Monday. The occupiers shelled 10 communities in the border area. The situation in the region is described in the evening report of the Sumy RMA, UNN reports.
During the day, Russians fired 38 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 170 explosions were recorded. Sumy, Khotyn, Miropil, Bilopil, Krasnopil, Velykopysariv, Shalyhyne, Esman, Znob-Novgorod, Seredyno-Budska communities were shelled.

It is noted that the enemy fired on Velykopysarivska and Miropilska communities with artillery and mortars.
The invaders dropped 21 mines on the residents of the Esman community. There was also artillery and MLRS fire and an air strike with SHOAB cluster munitions.
The Russians attacked Krasnopillia with drones, which dropped VOGs and once hit it with a barrage of Lancet ammunition.
On Monday, the invaders attacked Bilopillia with artillery, an FPV drone with a suspended VOG and an air strike with KABs.
The occupiers attacked the Khotyn community with artillery. Shalyhynska and Znob-Novhorodska were attacked with mines.
The Russian army shelled Seredyno-Buddy with MLRS, mortars and artillery.
There were also attacks in the Sumy community.
As a result of an air strike carried out by the Russians after 3 p.m. on the regional center, three people sustained injuries of varying severity. All were promptly provided with the necessary medical care. The administrative building of an enterprise was damaged. Dry vegetation caught fire over an area of 150 square meters.
