The police received a report today at 09:30 that "a 9th-grade student threatened participants in the educational process." "The minor suddenly pulled out a pistol during the lesson and fired two shots – one wounded his classmate. After that, the boy fled in an unknown direction. Patrol police officers detained the boy," the police noted.
Currently, police units are working at the scene. Medics examined the victim; his life and health are not in danger. The police seized the pistol – preliminarily, a traumatic one.
Investigators and juvenile police are clarifying all circumstances. In particular, how the weapon came into the hands of the minor. The issue of legal qualification of the event is being resolved.
