"The bad weather in Lviv continues. We have reports of fallen trees. Near Franko Park, a tree fell on a trolleybus. Near the Church of St. Yuriy, a tree also fell, damaging the contact network," Sadovyi stated on social media.

According to him, there are also breaks in the contact network on a number of streets. "On Lypynskoho, the power is also temporarily disconnected. At the intersection of Varshavska - Tunnelna, a traffic light fell," he said.

"Strong wind tore off part of the roof of the Shevchenkivskyi District Administration building and damaged windows," Sadovyi noted.

He added that due to the consequences of the bad weather, tram routes No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 and 9 are temporarily not running.

"Our services are already working to eliminate the consequences. After the fallen trees are removed and the contact network is restored, tram traffic will be resumed," emphasized the mayor of Lviv.
