Law enforcement officers have completed a special investigation into the head of the occupation administration in Kharkiv region, who helped the Russian military search for people who participated in the ATO/JFO and local volunteers among the local population, UNN reports, citing the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office approved and sent to the court an indictment against a 49-year-old man on the facts of high treason committed under martial law and collaboration activities.
According to the information, in March 2022, the person involved came to the occupied part of the Kharkiv region in the village of Kazachya Lopan in order to further head the occupation administration.
The "head" of the so-called " CAA " helped the Russian military to find among the local population people who participated in the ATO/OOS, local volunteers and patriotic citizens. also, he provided representatives of the Russian Federation with special equipment, which they used for the construction of engineering structures in order to repel the Ukrainian defenders.
The traitor organized the collection and transmission of information to representatives of the Russian Federation about the Defense Forces, and also agitated local residents to be loyal to the invaders, selected and appointed employees of the pseudo-government agency, approving relevant orders and orders.
Also, in order to discredit the authorities of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the accused starred in propaganda videos of the Russian Federation, which were later broadcast on federal channels of the aggressor state.
Now the accused is wanted, because in September 2022 he fled to the Russian Federation. The traitor will be tried in absentia in the Chervonozavodsky District Court of Kharkiv. The accused faces life imprisonment.
