Regarding yet another violation of international humanitarian law by the Russian Federation, I immediately sent official letters to the UN and ICRC to have the organizations document this fact. This should become the evidence base for the war crimes tribunal
He added that since war crimes have no statute of limitations, all those involved must eventually be brought to justice.
The international community must send a clear message to Russia that the traces of war crimes cannot be hidden. War crimes have no statute of limitations. And those who committed them and those who gave criminal orders will be brought to justice
