Russian troops shelled 17 settlements in Kherson region, injuring 8 people. Critical infrastructure, an educational institution, administrative buildings, a catering facility, and 20 residential buildings were damaged.
Eight people were wounded in shelling in Kherson region over the past day. The Russian army shelled 17 settlements in the region. A critical infrastructure facility, an educational institution, administrative buildings, a catering facility, nine high-rise buildings and 11 private houses were damaged, said RMA head Prokudin, reports UNN.

Between 06:00 on August 7, 2024 and 06:00 on August 8, 2024, several settlements of the Kherson region, including Romashkove, Kizomys, Mykhailivka, Novoberislav, Chornobaivka, Stanislav, Antonivka, Kachkarivka, Velytenske, Tyahyntsi, Lvov, Oleksandrivka, Kalynivske, Blahodativka, Prydniprovske, Sadove and the city of Kherson, came under hostile fire and air strikes.
The Russian military struck at critical infrastructure, educational institutions, administrative buildings, and catering establishments. Residential neighborhoods were also destroyed: 9 high-rise buildings and 11 private houses were damaged. In addition, the occupiers damaged a gas pipeline, outbuildings and private cars.
Eight people were injured as a result of Russian aggression.
The air defense forces destroyed one Shahed-131/136 drone over the territory of the region at night.
