Severe weather has affected part of Ukraine's territory, and rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the storm in various regions of the country, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Thursday, UNN writes.
Due to strong wind gusts and rain, State Emergency Service units were repeatedly involved in removing fallen trees and eliminating the consequences of the storm in the Mykolaiv, Sumy, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, and Prykarpattia regions
Rescuers, as noted, cleared roadways, removed hazardous trees from the residential sector, and unblocked damaged cars. The highest number of calls came from the Kirovohrad region, where State Emergency Service units made 92 deployments.
"Fortunately, there are no dead or injured as a result of the storm," the State Emergency Service emphasized.
And they urged: "During strong winds, avoid staying under trees, billboards, and power lines. In case of danger, call '101'".
