The Security Service of Ukraine detained an FSB informant who passed on the geolocation of Ukrainian forces in Donetsk to Russia, and her contact was a priest of the UOC (MP). She faces up to 8 years in prison.

An FSB informant who adjusted Russian strikes on the Defense Forces in Donetsk region was detained. Her "contact" was a former rector of a UOC (MP) church. This was reported by the SBU, UNN reports.

Details

It was established that the attacker was previously an assistant to the cleric. After he fled to Russia, she continued to keep in contact with him.

To establish reconnaissance and subversive activities, the woman traveled to Russia via the EU countries at the beginning of the year to meet with her FSB "curator" - the former head of artillery intelligence of the 100th separate motorized rifle brigade of the occupiers. The traitor received the main tasks, established communication channels through a cleric of the UOC (MP) and returned to Ukraine.

The offender collected intelligence information, such as the geolocation of the AFU units in the Kramatorsk area, and passed it to Russia.

SBU officers detained the enemy accomplice in her own home in the village of Krasnotorka. Now she faces up to 8 years in prison.
