Throughout the day, the Russian army fired at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. This included shelling with mortars, grenade launchers and artillery, as well as air strikes with unguided missiles
During the day, the Russian army shelled the border areas and territories and settlements of Sumy region. This is reported in a telegram from the Sumy Regional Military Command, UNN reports .
In particular, the following were shelled:
- Yunakivska community: explosives were dropped from a UAV (3 explosions).
- Miropilska community: 2 mines were dropped by the enemy on the territory of the community.
- Bilopilska community: mortar shelling was recorded (13 explosions).
- Krasnopilska community: mortar shelling (9 explosions) and grenade launcher shelling (57 explosions) and artillery shelling (2 explosions).
- Velykopysarivska community: an aerial attack was carried out from an uncontrolled helicopter. Helicopter with unguided aerial missiles (6 explosions). There was also a mortar attack (7 explosions).
- Novoslobidska community: Russians attacked with mortars (2 explosions).
