The Russian military is preparing to escalate its offensive on Avdiivka by conducting exercises in the rear and increasing the number of air strikes - Ukraine has recorded 18 such attacks recently.
The occupying army of the Russian Federation is preparing to resume offensive operations in Avdiivka. The spokesman for the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Oleksandr Stupun , told about the signs that testify to this on the air of "We-Ukraine," UNN reports.
"Firstly, we can see some units training behind enemy lines. Aviation training is also underway - the enemy has increased the number of air strikes. Over the past day, 18 such attacks were recorded, and the number of enemy ground attacks is not decreasing. In particular, the enemy resumed the use of Su-25 attack aircraft and Ka-52 helicopters after a break," he said.
On the Avdiivka section of the front yesterday, Russian troops attacked in four directions, in particular in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka and Severne. The enemy continues to actively conduct aerial reconnaissance - "drones are flying almost all the time."
As it is known, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 18 attacks in the Avdiivka sector yesterday. The occupants are paying special attention to Stepove, northwest of Avdiivka. The invaders are trying to take this settlement to cut off the logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the aggressor is not succeeding, supplies are being supplied, although it is complicated by constant shelling.
