Russian deputies propose reviving Soviet youth organizations for ideological influence. The restoration of totalitarian practices is aimed at establishing full ideological control over children and youth.
In Russia, ideas about restoring totalitarian Soviet practices aimed at establishing complete ideological control over children and youth are increasingly being voiced. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (CCD), informs UNN.

It is noted that one of the State Duma deputies spoke in favor of reviving the organizations of "Octobrists", "Pioneers" and "Komsomol".
In the USSR, this model allowed the regime to instill loyalty to the authorities in citizens from an early age and to consolidate the necessary political and ideological attitudes. And today, under the guise of "nostalgia" or "traditions", Russian society is being forced to accept the idea of the "normality" of total state control over children.
They claim that in reality, a system for shaping children into citizens "convenient" for the Kremlin already exists, and its scope is on par with Soviet scales.
"Structures like 'Dvizenie Pervykh' and 'Yunarmia' cover children of different ages and combine ideological indoctrination with elements of militarization. They form a single network of influence - from kindergarten to university," the CCD adds.

In the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region, a headquarters for military training of teenagers was created with the participation of Rosgvardia. The occupiers are preparing children for war and service in the Russian army.
