Slovenia promises to provide up to €5 million in grants for the reconstruction of Ukraine's infrastructure, covering up to 50% of each project, with a focus on restoring services in all regions.

Slovenia is ready to to provide grants of up to EUR 5 million for the reconstruction of infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. This information was provided following a meeting between the Head of the Recovery Agency Mustafa Nayem and Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Anna Yurchenko with a delegation from the Republic of Slovenia. of the Republic of Slovenia, was published by the press service of the State Agency for and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, reports UNN.

Slovenia is ready to allocate up to €5 million in grants for the reconstruction of infrastructure facilities. Reconstruction projects can be submitted to the Center for International Cooperation and Development of Slovenia (CMSR). The grants will cover up to 50% of the project cost

It is noted that the is ready to scale up successful projects to increase the pace of of reconstruction.

The agency's priority is to rebuild and restore the maximum number of damaged infrastructure facilities in order to provide basic services to the population in all regions of Ukraine

According to the Agency, € 3.46 million of budgetary of budget funds for humanitarian, material and development assistance to Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign and and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia allocated in 2022. As for 2023, it is indicated that €  6.14 million will be allocated. According to Anna Yurchenko, this is the largest humanitarian aid to Ukraine from Slovenia over the past decade.
