The Verkhovna Rada summoned Defense Minister Rustem Umerov for an explanation regarding defense orders. The Minister is to report on the scandal with mines and on plans to use 23 billion hryvnias.
The Verkhovna Rada voted to summon Defense Minister Rustem Umerov to explain the scandals with defense orders. This is reported by UNN with reference to the parliamentary corps.

As MP Oleksiy Honcharenko added, now Umerov has to come to the parliament and report, in particular, on where they want to allocate 23 billion hryvnias.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that the reasons for the abnormal operation of 120-millimeter mines are being investigated by an interdepartmental commission. For now, the use of ammunition has been suspended, and the defective batch of mines has been seized. According to the preliminary results of the investigation, the mines do not detonate due to possible defects, including poor quality propellant charges or violation of storage conditions. On this fact, the State Bureau of Investigation has opened a criminal case.
