Details
Unfortunately, attempts to illegally cross the border were recorded both during Christmas and on Christmas Eve, and virtually every day our border patrols detain violators who plan to illegally cross the border. In fact, schemes are also being exposed, organizers and facilitators who help people in such illegal trips are being exposed. But the trend towards a decrease in such attempts continues, and this has been recorded in recent days, and in general, this trend has been going on since August. Every month, and December is no exception, the dynamics is exclusively towards a decrease in the number of people planning to illegally cross the border
He emphasized that, for example, July was the highest rate of detention of offenders, and this year more than 330 criminal groups have been exposed for helping people cross the border illegally.
Most of the attempts to illegally cross the border are made along the green line, i.e. outside the checkpoints. If we talk about legal ways of exit, checkpoints, we expose several people every day. It can be two citizens per day, it can be 7, up to 10 in total, who use forged documents
According to him, the highest dynamics of detentions continues to be recorded on the border with Romania and Moldova, and the lowest - on the border with Poland.
