New details of Zelenskyy's meeting with the European Commission in Brussels have been revealed

The President of Ukraine will attend a meeting of the European Commission in Brussels to consider the EU's strategic vision for the next 5 years. The meeting will discuss the priorities of European integration and the role of the EU in a peaceful Europe.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will attend the first meeting of the European Commission in Brussels. This was announced by the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, Minister of Justice Olha Stefanyshyna during the forum “Law and Justice: Strengthening Cooperation in Times of War,” an UNN correspondent reports.

Olga Stefanyshyna noted that the meeting  will address many important issues, including the EU's strategic vision for the next five years.

This is a very important signal for us. In fact, there is no separation between Ukraine and the EU member states. Ukraine is at the top of the agenda. Of course, there will be many issues that are going to be discussed and, of course. The meeting in Paris is an initiative of the European Commission, as far as I know, and at this meeting the European Commission will also express a strategic vision for the next five years, both for enlargement and for the EU's defense policy

- said the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.

She also emphasized that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had accepted the invitation to participate in the European Council, primarily to outline the priorities of European integration, cooperation with the EU, and the role of the European Union in a peaceful Europe to the new composition of European institutions.

 Earlier it became known that the President of Ukraine will meet with the leaders of key European countries, NATO and the EU to discuss support for Ukraine. The meeting will take place against the backdrop of possible changes in US policy after Trump's return.
