NBU puts into circulation a commemorative coin "Ukrainian language" made of nickel silver

The National Bank of Ukraine has issued a commemorative 5-hryvnia Ukrainian Language coin with a stylized letter "E" and a nightingale on the obverse and a unique alphabet design on the reverse. The coin, made of nickel silver in a mintage of 75,000 pieces, went into circulation at a price of UAH 135.
The National Bank put into circulation a commemorative coin "Ukrainian Language" commemorative coin in the denomination of 5 hryvnias made of nickel nickel (an alloy of copper, nickel and zinc), which features a stylized letter "Y" with a nightingale, symbolizing the melodiousness of the Ukrainian language. According to information of the regulator, the obverse of the coin features a stylized letter "E" with a a nightingale, symbolizing the melodiousness of the Ukrainian language, as well as a texture of of the letters of the Ukrainian alphabet, which associatively resembles a nest, which is a symbol of home and a family amulet.
The reverse of the banknote features a a stylized composition of the letters of the Ukrainian alphabet, in which the letters G, Yi, I, which distinguish the Ukrainian language phonetically and graphically among cultures that use the Cyrillic alphabet. Cyrillic alphabet. The textured letters form the phrase "our language of Ukraine". The elements of the composition emphasize the integration of the language into modern gadgets, digital devices, and information networks.
It is also reported that the circulation of the commemorative coin "Ukrainian Language" is up to 75,000 pieces in souvenir packaging. The sale of coins started on November 29. The cost of a coin in souvenir packaging will be 135 hryvnias.
